Sharon Shinwell. Dip Couns. Dip HP. Dip. CBT. Dip Sup. MBACP., is a qualified, Integrative Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Clinical Counselling Supervisor.

Sharon is the author and producer of the Confident Rider Series of Self-Hypnosis CD’s, and co-author of the book “Ride with Confidence”. She also specialises in Sports Psychotherapy for nervous horse riders and nervous skiers.

With her Group Therapy qualification and experience, Sharon runs Smoking Cessation programs as well as specialising in Couple Counselling for same-sex, heterosexual and bi-sexual couples.

Sharon is trained to offer Hypno-Chemo Psychotherapy, as adjunctive support for terminally ill patients, and their families and friends, which forms part of their palliative care. She has also worked as a volunteer Supervisor for Counsellors working for Cruse Bereavement Care.

Sharon uses her past experience and knowledge of the commercial world to counsel clients with work-related issues, and is an affiliate Counsellor for various Employer Assisted Program Providers. Sharon regularly appears on BBC radio in her capacity as a Counsellor and Life Coach, and has appeared on channel M, TV for Manchester.

Telephone Counselling, Telephone Coaching and Clinical Case Work Supervision are other services that Sharon offers.

Qualified Counsellor. Experienced Life Coach

Alan Shinwell. Dip. Couns., is a qualified Counsellor experienced in the area of Mental Health, having worked as a Counsellor for the Bolton based Mental Health Independent Support Team. Issues such as depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties, are just some of the problems he can help with. Alan also offers Couple Counselling to same-sex, heterosexual, and bi-sexual couples.

Alan's background in sales, marketing, and business management, as well as having owned and run a very successful manufacturing company, means he can empathise with work-related issues, the pressure of management and leadership, and issues of work--life balance. Personal Life Coaching is offered by Alan on the same basis as Counselling.
